Who we are?

MK Agro Production Sp. z o.o. was founded in 2014. For several years, it was engaged in the cultivation of potatoes, carrots, and beets, as well as the processing of these vegetables, which are peeled and then pasteurised (steamed) and vacuum-packed.

As of 2024, we are focusing only on processing and expanding our offerings with new products based on pasteurised and sterilised potatoes. Our production capacity is 40,000 tons of finished products per year.

We guarantee year-round cooperation, a wide range of packaging and delivery anywhere in Europe, and we also offer sterilised products to other continents.

Production

Our machinery is based on technology supplied by the most recognised leaders specialising in the design and construction of modern and advanced systems for receiving, washing, processing, and packaging raw materials, such as Grimme, Wyma, Kiremko, Lagarde, Tomra, Optimum Sorting, and Fam/Stumabo.

The quality of the vegetables we purchase is guaranteed by our permanent contractual agreements with the best potato producers, a state-of-the-art receiving line, a sorting plant and a storage facility with a capacity of more than 30,000 tons.

We rely on a technology similar to sous vide, i.e. steam cooking, in a vacuum-sealed package, which allows us to preserve the vitamin and micronutrient content of vegetables, bringing out the best flavour and natural aroma and colour.

MK Agro Production’s portfolio is based primarily on clean-label products, without the addition of preservatives or artificial colours. These features, as well as the low salt content, are in line with the principles of healthy eating and current trends of the best diet for humans.

The vast majority of our customers are interested in cooperation based on private-label products, so we also offer the option of custom orders based on the specifications we receive.

Our mission is to create healthy products using the potential of selected potato varieties and modern technologies that allow us to achieve the highest quality and offer high production flexibility at an attractive price.

Quality and safety

In addition to selected varieties, constant cooperation with the most recognised seed potato producers in the EU, and the most experienced potato producers, the quality and safety of our products are confirmed by IFS, BRC, and QI.

For production we mainly use varieties that are characterised by yellow flesh and excellent taste, and high internal quality standards allow us to offer a final product that can be considered one of the best in its category in the EU market.

In addition to audits required by the regulations of the certificates we hold, we are also audited by customers such as Lidl and Jeronimo Martins, i.e. the largest retail chains.

The foils in which we pack and then pasteurise/sterilise our products are supplied by reputable, world-class manufacturers and are made of BPA-free raw materials, i.e. bisphenols and photobisphenol initiators and photoinitiators, so the vegetables in them are safe and have no negative impact on consumer health.

Business Model

Our suppliers

The key to success is certainly the quality of the raw material, which in turn depends on the selection of appropriate varieties and the quality of the crops. That is why we cooperate with modern farms that have the GlobalG.A.P. certificate and mostly cooperate with suppliers of certified seed potatoes.

Local production

We try to support Polish agriculture and thus buy over 90% of our vegetables in Poland, but due to the climate and storage possibilities, for 4-6 weeks a year we have to buy raw material in France or in the Netherlands, of course carefully selecting the suppliers so that customers receive the highest quality all the time.

Packaging

We work with renowned single and collective packaging suppliers.

Logistics

We work with reputable shipping companies that guarantee delivery to anywhere in Europe, regardless of economic, pandemic, or weather conditions.

Our customers can rest assured that they will receive their orders on time, and order processing is often done through the EDI system.

We work with FTL and LTL delivery systems. We also cooperate with returnable packaging operators such as Chep and EPS.
