What will Michał be responsible for at MK Agro?

At MK Agro, Michał will be responsible for developing the culinary and innovative potential of our products – from new ideas and applications, through taste and functionality, to solutions that address real market needs.

His role will also include supporting portfolio development, working with customers and partners, and combining MK Agro’s technological capabilities with the knowledge and experience of professional kitchens. The aim is to build a bridge between the field, production, the kitchen and the consumer, while exploring new possibilities for the potato – a product deeply rooted in Polish tradition, yet full of potential for modern applications.

What values guide him in his work, and how does he approach innovation? Read our short conversation with Michał Fabiszewski, Head of Culinary & Innovation at MK Agro.

What is most important to you when working with a product?
I always start with the product and its story. I want to know where it comes from, who is behind it, why it tastes the way it does, and what we can do to bring out its full potential. For me, a good product is the starting point for everything that comes afterwards.

How do you define innovation?
Innovation has to make sense. I am not interested in creating something new just so that it can be called innovative. A new solution should respond to a real need, be feasible to implement, make business sense and, above all, be good.

What particularly attracted you to MK Agro?
The combination of two worlds that are very close to me: respect for the land, the product and tradition, together with the courage to look at them in a new way. It is precisely the space between tradition and innovation that I find most interesting today.

What guides you in your work?
Truth, simplicity, emotion and curiosity. I see quality as a process, not a destination where you can arrive and decide that everything has already been done. When we stop being curious and asking questions, we stop developing.

And what is your goal in this new role?
I want to show that we have not yet said everything there is to say about the potato. We can take the best from tradition while continuing to add new chapters to it. Sometimes, to create something genuinely new, you do not need to look far – you simply need to see differently what has always been right beneath our feet.
