In December 2025, MK Agro successfully passed an unannounced IFS Food audit (version 8), achieving an outstanding score of 97.51% at the Higher Level. This result places MK Agro among companies with the highest level of compliance with international food safety and quality standards.
The IFS Food (International Featured Standards) certification is one of the most important global standards required by leading retail chains, foodservice operators, and food manufacturers. It covers key areas such as food safety, hygiene, traceability, process consistency, risk management, and staff competence.
The audit conducted at MK Agro was unannounced, meaning that auditors assessed the company under everyday operating conditions. This form of audit provides strong confirmation that quality and food safety standards are embedded in daily practice, not only prepared for inspection purposes.
The scope of certification includes:
- sorting, cleaning, and cutting of vegetables,
- cooking, pasteurisation, and sterilisation processes,
- vacuum packaging,
- production of ready-to-eat potatoes and vegetable semi-finished products.
The achieved result reflects the commitment of the entire MK Agro team – experienced operators, technologists, quality specialists, and production staff – who consistently follow strict procedures and continuously develop their skills.
For MK Agro’s business partners, the 97.51% IFS Food score is a clear confirmation that the company is a reliable and professional supplier, capable of delivering safe, high-quality, and repeatable products for the foodservice, food processing, and retail sectors across international markets.
